1-2 week extension??

PostAuthor: ergman » November 20, 2006, 8:08 pm

Quick question for the experts....I asked Ray but he wasn't sure and suggested I post a thread for some quick answers....

I am going to stay an extra week up there in Udon and that will put me over the 30 day mark. Can I get a small extension there in town for maybe a week to 1 month? I seem to remember someone saying you could get a month extension for 1900 Baht or something like that.

Any help would be appreciated!! See ya'll in 26 more days!!! :D

unless things have changed since this last shake up, ypu used to be able to get a 15 day extension on a 30day visa on arrival. why don't you just get a 2 month tourist visa to start with. No hassles and same cost.

You could take a short trip to Laos and get another 30 days too!

So what do I need to do to get a 2 month tourist Visa?? I wonder if I could get it from the Thai Embassy here in Saudi Arabia before I leave...or is it just as easy to get it there.

Thank you guys again for all of your help...I really appreciate it :)

pop in to the embassy there and for around $25 dollars you can get a 60 day "TR" tourist Visa. which for 1900 baht you can extend for 30 days here in Udon.

Better yet ask them what they need for you to get a one year muliti entry "O" visa, cost around $125 dollars. With it you can stay 90 days each trip and its good for one year from date issued.
