I arrived in Udon on the 04 oct 08,and had booked to stay at the hotel Chareon for a week,whist i looked for a house to rent for myself and my T/G.
I left my number with a few people whom i found on this site,i also started to look for myself.On my second day here i recieved a call from Gareth Meadows,of Udonproperty,i had left him a brief message,telling him what i was looking for. Well what a very pleasant surprise to meet somone as proffessonal,and helpfull as him.The very next day he took me to see 2 houses,one of which i am now renting.But the effort and thought that he has shown, goes beyond what you would expect.
I would like to say a big thank you to him,also his loverly G/F Ja,who has given me no end of help,thank you both.
So if anybody needs any help in regard to property,this is the place to go,once again many thanks.

Hope you will be happy in your new house. As you probably already know there are very good ammenities around the town and ring road. I'm always wary about property agents but you seem to have struck lucky with a good one. It's still not a bad idea to compare other properties around you for future reference. There are an abundance on my little estate which is 6 Km from the town. Rents vary between 4000 and 7000 per month.
Anyway good luck I think it's always best to rent before a decision to buy is made and make sure you seek good advice before taking the plunge

no westers im not , in any shape or form . { and i thought i was a little cynical } . but as we are all quick enough to jump on the band wagon when there is bad service , i thought that it was nice of richard to sing someones praises for a change . i am however looking for a good property agent , so i will definately give udonproperty a call in the near future , and see if i get the same good service !!!!

Thanks for the kind words and reccomendation Richard, I am pleased we were able to help and hope you and your lady settle in, we realise that there is alot more to starting a new life in a new country with a different culture and although we don't know everything (who does?) we will always do what we can to help make the transition as smooth as possible. (PS Ja isn't my GF (don't ruin her chances of meeting someone! ))

Also chaps don't forget the 'and land' bit, please don't confuse us with 'Udon Property'. Our office can be found On Adunyadet Road near Ruysuk Mansion (Map Ref O8). Also following the success of the last week at UD Plaza we will, in addition, be opening a satellite office there in the evenings within the next couple of weeks.

Please feel free to drop in and say hi. Little suprised by the cynicisim, is it so suprising that some companies pride themselves on putting customer satisfaction above profit? I realise that a good reputation is hard to earn and a bad reputation difficult to erase. I plan to be here for the long haul and I hope to build a successful business and enjoy a happy life in Udon and I see only one way to do that... the right, proper and honest way.
