When being notified of a topic I get this about 85% of the time. When i go to the site itself it opens everytime. Only experienced in the past few days

Please try the following:

If you typed the page address in the Address bar, make sure that it is spelled correctly.

Open the www.udonmap.com home page, and then look for links to the information you want.
Click the Back button to try another link.
Click Search to look for information on the Internet.

Yep, me too. For the last two or three days and as I'm in Oz it cant be the service providers problem. Maybe when Lee gets back from his trip he can have a look at the problem ??

I don't know if it is connected or not but i have had instances where the home page opens but there is no forum list, just the list of classifieds.
To rectify, I go to the forum tab and open there and then dump the site cookies and then all works fine .

Interesting allowed me to log in but lost it going to the topic. Not really that big od deal just thiught xomeone would want to know

I has nothing to do with 'cookies' because I've been having this same problem for the past 5-6 days. I've heard that Lee and others have been 'upgrading' the site and feel this is one of the unexpected results. somehow, when the notification email is delivered to my computer (via gmail) and I click on the blue, underlined link it takes me to my browser (Firefox) but I get the 404 notice of site not available. Git says it happens to him about 85% of the time, for me it probably closer to 98% of the time. Periodically when I have several of these emails, the first one I click on may come up in the browser like its supposed to do but all the others will give me the 404 message.

Bit of a pain in the A$$.

Can you copy and send the link to the page that causing the error? Click on the link in your email, copy the address in the top address bar and post it here. This will give me a better idea what the problem is.

It's in the first post Lee

The link above is just an udonmap.com URL linking to the home page, this will only return an error if the website is down. I'm guessing that you have selected a couple of topics to be notified of replies. When a selected topic is selected for email notification you will be sent a link to that thread when the topic has been replied to. The link in this email will take you directly to the topic you are watching. Please click on this link and copy the address in the browser address bar. I can then work out if there is a problem with the links being sent via email or if it is just a connection problem.
