The Badger, go with Marshall66's and Paul's advice. It's true that if you get involved with long standing/serving BG's you could be asking for problems, but with one that's only been there 2 weeks, there's a reasonable chance that she hasn't yet been hardened or indoctrined, (particularly if working in Krabi - which is much lower key).
As Marshall says watch for her financial demands and try and judge from that. If she is young and has no children or just one child and asks you for 5000 baht a month to enable her to live at home, sounds reasonable. If she asks you for 20K baht or more a month, and/or comes up with various crises, such as where a sick relative needs money, be warned, I would suggest she is taking advantage of you. Also be careful if there is a very large age difference.
It is true to say that some girls do go and work in bars specifically hoping to find a farang boyfriend, and if they find a good one, whom they value, can be very loyal and develop genuine affection/love for you. The shorter time they have worked there the better.
As mentioned it's difficult to judge, as no one really knows much about either of you, your ages, your experience over here, or her. So take things slowly and don't commit any large sums until you have known her a very long time and are very sure of her. It would be good to know your respective ages.
I would suggest it will be more difficult if you live at a great distance from her, as you are not then able to get to know each other easily. Also consider what, if any, influences there maybe on her from friends and family.
