If any of you knew Alex from Nong Khai,he died from cancer,after developing problems a few months ago.He was a member of the golfing group of the area and a regular at Brendens & Noi's cafe, an avid crossword puzzle worker,and a regular guy.He was a longtime resident of Nong Khai and leaves a wife and young son here.He returned to Australia after being hospitalized here.I believe that he was militarily disabled as a tank combatant in Viet nam.
