Looks like the Communication Authority of Thailand have been busy blocking websites for the local users.

If you use GPRS then you can view all sites that would otherwise be blocked by the Communication Authority of Thailand on a landline connection. This is handy if surfing xxx sites, however I never visit these sites so it doesn't apply to me, honest gov LOL

Well guess I need to setup a Proxy. Kind of a good idea anyways. Just strange they are blocking the site that I was trying to download a tool from, guess they do not want me to have the tool. Funny, they don't seem to be blocking xxx sites, probably would get to many complaints from other Ministry's.

Yes they are blocking XXX sites!
Its odd though - coz some they block and others they dont.
Its my business what I look on my computer for which I am paying for the airtime - and providing it is not illegal - then I think they have no right to dictate what I can see and what I cannot see.

Another case of those above, limiting what citizens of this country have access to. Who deems themself worthy enough to do that ?- grrrrrrrr

Like you said Dakoda - thank goodness for proxy's
