Australian Moto GP- (motorbikes)

PostAuthor: Gozzo » October 6, 2008, 1:03 pm

The Australian round of the Moto GP was run and won by Aussie Casey Stoner. =D>

It seems that Stoner and Valentino Rossi are a class above the rest in this class but next year Ducati will have Stoner as well as Nicky Hayden who is a very talented American rider.

Although not the closest race I have seen, the location of Phillip Island has to be the most scenic and spectacular of all the race circuits.

Plenty of thrills and spills in the 125cc and 250cc races, and an encouraging result for an up and coming rider from Chonburi by the name of Ratthapark Wilairot who came in 9th in the 250cc race.

A great days racing!! :guitar: :guitar:

Defnitely a beautiful location. A Thai rider that, I wasn't aware of that and really wondered since they have been on bikes since the y were babies.

The 125 and 250's are the most exciting the big guys Stoner or Rossi is always way out there and the race is really for third back.

I really enjoy the Super Bikes as well, seem to be more evenly matched

Little doubt that P Island is a superb location for a track, when the weather is right.
I have watched Wilairot practicing at the Bira circuit many times, when you see just how fast a mid field rider in 250's is around there, you realize just how good the boys at the top of their Moto GP game are.
