Avatars?

Looks like our avatars were wiped out somehow. Reloaded my current favorite and appears back to normal. OK to keep avatars, Lee/Mods?

I was thinking of turning mine around, so she is walking towards us.

Can we take a vote on this? :D

According to thehttp://www.isarapix.com/ website:

We are sorry to announce that on April 8th, IsaraPIX, and all of it's files, were accidentally deleted by our web host. They did apologize for the mistake but it does not change the fact that thousands of users have lost more than 100,00 images and many people have lost their blogs too (IsaraBLOG was also deleted).

There are no back-ups and we are uncertain if we're going to continue using shared web hosting. It causes more problems than it's worth. We do not know if IsaraPIX will come back or not. All we know is that we are very proud of every person who decided to make a difference by hosting their images and blogs with us. Thank you for your support. We hope you will continue to make a difference by using Isara.org for all your Google searches. (That site is on a dedicated server so it'll be fine.)

Thank you again for your support and I truly sorry for any inconvenience this has brought you,

Patrick Kirk Gillock
Isara Charity Organization

That might explain it.

I regret to say that the upload directory which contains avatars and uploaded images hit the dust a couple of days ago so I now have the daunting task of locating the missing image files and uploading them again. :( This has nothing to do with isarapix, it was an error on my behalf during website backup.

Udonmap.com hosts the avitars itself? Its a strange coincidence. I wish there was something we could do to help you. Would it help for some of us to reload our avitars, or would tha just make things more complicated?

My avatar is alright, wasn't affected. ;)

Keep your hands off her. She's a bit choosy who uploads her. [-(

Oh, maybe others don't see her then? I do, she's still there on my posts, past and present. Maybe that's because she's held on my laptop.

Yours is still visible to me, Bob. Does that mean you've reloaded it then?

Sorry to say your avatar has been used by at least 2 members on this forum in the past - not unique. See my statue is still there though, stood posing in the sun for hours at Ban Kud Kwangeoi waiting for em to finish it. :-"
