If its not fixed within 24 hours and getting larger etc , consider oral antibiotics - Flucloxacillin

Also, avoid getting water in your ears. I developed a really bad ear infection (both ears) during a songkran festival a few years back.

The problems I have at this time are associated with the Talcum powder they use. They tend to smear it on your face then douse you in water. This leads to it running in your eyes and causing red eye and soreness.Because of this I won't allow them to put it anywhere near my face.

Amoxicillin is still ok for this as well as Paracetamol for pain relief.
