I drove past there earlier today, but it was closed, I think the sign said it will reopen a little later tonight so I will be heading back down there soon to go and try some of his fine food.

He was open this evening Ok. I popped in for a beer and an apple pie, after having eaten at home!! :D

He has a good selection of farang food, including breakfasts, roasts, various meat pies, and Da (Peter's wife) does a range of Thai food. :D

I see what you mean Jaidee, I treated myself to a steak pie and chips, absolutely superb.

I understand that all of his pies are hand made, now that makes a refreshing change from some of the inferior quality pies you can buy here.

It's a shame there is no rating system on this forum as I would give this place a 10 out of 10. Most enjoyable.

Just to clarify, if any members have difficulty finding this place, - it's 400m from Wat That (the white temple) at the end of the Rimkong River Road). ;)

Hope some forumites either from here or udonmap could take a picture of the Fish 'n Chips plus the price as it seems that it is one of their specialities and is being mentioned a lot.
Thx 8)

If no one beats me to it, then I will get you a photo of some of their fish and chips next time I am in there. I have heard the fish has been rather large recently :) (I think you can confirm that 747man)

Two things about the photos on this thread, the first set of photos of the tables and chairs of this establishment, posted by the webmaster, were crap and boring. The second set of photo's posted by Ricky (courtesy of arjay) were more to the point.
Summary - Fish and chips are more appealing and less boring to look at than the tables and chairs.

Must agree....but if you are into tables and chairs then they would be interesting.

And i must say Burnley Pete has a decent plate of food in his hands, complete with a smile, well done to him, now i see why 747 can't get out of his chair after one of them, and i bet he has to undo his button on his trousers for more comfort.

Does any one know if he happens to make (proper) Cornish Pasties? I've had some pretty poor imitations in the time I've been in the LOS including one here on the island that had Sweet Basil (Krapao) in it.

I am already keen to move to NK, but for a good Cornish Pasty I would leave the Mrs here to sell the bar and move up there tomorrow!
