ok, clarification.........we're not talking night market, possibly the food court at mall. tall, thin, not heavy set, white hair, has is chang and reads the bkk post.......private person, but will acknowledge eye contact......might this be the same??????

if so, i've sat across him on many occasion, while the the others do their thing, usually with mp3 player for company. if same, this seems to be his first stop of his daily rounds, as he also seems to hit UP2U, then Irish Clock, where he usually sits with his friends. thought the same when first seeing him, if same, if not, anyone of that mode. relax in himself, and him not knowing me, possible thinking the same. as it seems when ever i used to have an early beer at food court mall, he was there, usually before 2 ish, as i would attermpt to get a couple tigers from tops, and give the gal a 20 baht tip for refillable ice in my glass, since not buying her beer.

many a farang i see on semi regular basis, or used to when out and about, most seeming quite content with themselves, as i usually am, i'm easily entertained. though usually waiting for Ree to shop, a horrid experience, we have different shopping modes. but if single, i could easily fit his mode, quite content by myself, with the sprinkling of friends i may only see on a week, bi weekly or monthly visit.
