What makes you think that she is actually going to come back to the Udon area? You have no way of knowing.

Bar girls are not limited to working in just go go bars. They can work in any bar.

A bike is going to cost in excess of 30,000 Baht.

My personal opinion is that you are probably getting screwed. Of course, she could be the exception...

I think it's fairly safe to say you have been... question is, at what cost?

Depends on make and model... As Doc says, from 30,000 Baht upwards... if you want the new 'Honda Airblade', you can pretty much double that.

Even if she lives with her sister, she probably pays rent. If you planning on buying a bike I would like to recommend a 200 cc Honda Phantom, one the best bike ever built. You comes around 80 K, and are excellent in the city and also to ride a longer distance's, my wife refuse to drive any small bikes after we bought the Phantom.

And last but not least..... If she has a land line, use that it is the only way you can tell if she is in the Udon area.... Some of my best friends over the years has been BG's and my personal experience is that most of them has a good heart and are just trying to support their familys.

plenty of girls that work in bars in patts, Will have their babys with them, they will probably be staying in the rented room with a relative/sister/mother whilst the girl is out doing her "thang"... so its no proof that she is back home in Udon, 20000baht is good money,.... and i like the look of those little Honda airblades,

and yes think you are spot on stevo.

seems its the time of year. LOL

Unless you speak fluent Thai, I am confident that you are getting a lot of information from a 4 year old child.

Personally, I don't know of any Thai 4 year olds that are going to get on the phone and talk to some falang that they have never seen before.

Statements like that do make you sound like a troll... [-X

Are you sure its not her 40 Yo husband you are having the conversation with?
I was going to add comment that this is an obvious troll, no one is this thick, but then looking at the spelling, maybe.

You say that you just met a prostitute in a foreign country ........
And you don't really know her .....

Please get some info first about what you are getting into, before donating a lot of money to a person you know nothing about.

A bargirl (prostitute) in Thailand works the same way as a high class escort girl in the west: she plays to be your girlfriend as long as you pay her for it.
And the girls in Thailand are the best in the world at doing that.

Why would you start a relationship with a prostitute you just met, and start sending her more money (for free)?
Why are you sending her money, before getting to know who she is?

Please, stop a minute and use your common sense, before moving on.
Otherwise maybe you are screwing yourself.

If I give you my bank account number, will you send me money for a motorcycle too? :D

Hehe you guys are too mean.
The veteran board members had read so many stories of broken hearts and emptied wallets that I think you mean to help. But I think guys who ask for advice really do not want to hear the likely truth, they want people to tell them that they are not crazy.

Funny thing is, just last month a dear friend of mine traveledd up to Nong Han to visit his fiance who he had been supporting with exactly the same amount 20,000 bhat/month for the last half year. Although he had already applied for the fiance visa to the USA, she had married another farang 2 months earlier and didn't bother to tell him. She also was and ex-Pattaya Go-go girl and he caught her working the Udon Thani bars but he took her back anyways.

I guess, just don't give anything that you mind losing. Best of luck
