...You have waited over 2 years to pluck up he courage to ask this question, have you not read the forum before,why do people ask these questions.....why don't you just go look for yourself, Udon is not a vast city with thousands of hidden bars containing a big selection girls ripe for the picking(but then you would know that already being a member on here for such a long time)...if your old enough to travel around the world unaccompanied you are old enough to find a rooting for yourself, surely you don't need looking after still...do you..

Here we are, jumping in feet first, not knowing a thing about mkbfas. 2 years without a post, maybe he has a reason. Not the first time a first poster has been shot down as soon as they stick there head up. The regulars here are very territorial, hostile to tresspassers who put a foot wrong! Possibly he has never contributed because has never been in Udon; could be loads of reasons.

Yes, bargirl scene not a lot of choice, but i am no expert, as rarely enter such bars. lets give Udon a C- score for that. Go stay at Top Mansion, blind man can find bargirls within 50 yards of there. Udon is more for the long term resident with long term girlfriend/wife. If you are serious, can find the girlfriend/wife in Udon too.

Personally, I've found that you can discover the prettiest and friendliest girls most ANYWHERE. I find them in Lotus, Big-C, Robinsons, on the street, in mom & pop shops, even in some of the bars. I've seldom gone anywhere that I didn't see one or two, out and about. But then, I'm not really looking .

I've just noticed, the forum title says, '...meet a beautiful "Guest", and that has me a bit confused . I've always thought we farangs were the 'guests' - in which case, I haven't seen too many beautiful ones.

A lot depends on the depth of your pockets.If you are thinking of a girl that works in a bar, then as others have said they are all over the place, you really can't miss them. A bit of a bar crawl should give you an idea whats available and one who matches your expectations.As for friendly. Well that's up to you. I understand the more girl drinks you buy the friendlier they get.If you are looking for the real stunners though it is doubtful they would be ,a) working in a bar.Or

The girls are employed as singer/hostesses. You attract their attention by pinning at least a 500bht note to a flower garland while they are on stage, and presenting it to them.When they have finished their turn at singing they will come over to your table and join you. You then wine and dine them. NB:Some establishments will make a charge by the hour that they are with you.Normally about 150bht.
Beware if one girl joins you, she may ask if her friend/s can come over. All have to be paid for. These girls are not for taking out, but if they like you may be prepared to go for a short time, but not normally until after midnight when their singing engagement finishes.But be prepared to be given the cold shoulder at any time. Especially as farangs are not generally known for their generosity, and the girls are very aware of this. Plus the fact they just might prefer having a Thai man that they can converse with.You can reckon to spend about 5,000bht on the evenings entertainment, which can easily double if extracurricular activities take place.

10k for a bunk up - with a brass - in udon - unbelievable imo

Credit crunch money saving tip: Forget the bars.

a) Get in a samlor and the driver will offer you a lady. He will swear she is velly beautiful and velly good. You can trust these guys!

b) Walk up Prajak Rd past Fuzzy Ken's and the Sumo Japanese resaurant. On that little stretch a few ladies of horizontal pleasure hang about looking for punters. I think in these hard times they might have a discounted rate of 300 Baht. Just a word of caution, forget Durex Featherlite, go for Durex bullet-proof. Better still wear 2 condoms to be sure to be sure.
