Blast from the Mast!

PostAuthor: mortiboy » April 17, 2009, 9:14 pm

I have just moved to a another house. At the time, I did'nt know there were various speakers around the area.
Now, most mornings, woken to the sound of this moron yapping load of crap.He must be so bored!so he decides to yap on his microphone to all in the neighborhood!Like the "Wizard of OZ" Just some stupid boring fool with nothing better to do broadcast loads of crap people already Know!Right now, at I have this idiot yap two hour's amazing how much power a inadaquate fool can have so much power!
Do people listen? NO! they just put up with it!
Does he think people dont have TV's and radio's? What is it all about? Is it keep people here supressed? Why force people to listen?Their attitude is....If you dont want listen,...Tough!
I am sorry for my missus. When ever this crap comes up I turn on ac dc full blast. .Drown the boring bstard! She says, dont give problem or they will do no good.like scratch your car!
So what does that say ? Shows me the kind of people we have to live with.I am sick and tired of this country now.
I made my life here. I tried so hard to go their way and go with the flow.
I am now looking at staying another country. But a bit late for me now......I need a drink!

It really does make a difference where you live in Thailand.I am grateful that I have taken my time in checking out the community and people I live around.I have absolutely no problems with neighbors, noise or any of the stuff mentioned above and I am extremely grateful

I seems to me that it is common to most areas of Thailand and very difficult to avoid.Moving until you find an area in which ''disturbing the peace''is not common is the only reasonable answer!

Of course,If one has ''planted'' themselves to quickly,it is difficult to change the circumstances! :(

Absolutly Stan.As you say not so easy to find suitable acommodation, Unfortunatly, i had to move house at short notice. This area was the best I could find. Also, 6 months contract for rent needed. So stuck here. But It is no good for my health. My biggest hate is NOISE.It upsets me so much. Here, I cant seem to avoid it.My missus says its normal. It is really getting to me.I dont know the answer.....I need a drink!

Put some Chopin on your MP3 player and tune out... :ugly: Back here in Fahlangistan the guy who sold used cars across the road moved out and a motorbike repair guy moved in. All he seems to do all day is rev up :censored: motorbikes. I'd hate to be the bloke in the house nearest to him... He does shift work. :(

     must be closer to me now

one of the first things i looked for, and damn if i didn't miss it, right across the street, and one even louder behind the house, which is used more. thank god we have very few window, actually the bedrooms, and nothing facing the back speaker, but it is so loud at times. usual 6:30 am ish, which i am already awake, so not a problem. if not awake and they wake me, no problem, worked for airlines and still have my earmuffs, setting on my nice green lizard next to bed. short reach, on, back to la la land.

i would really be pissed if i had a 2nd shift job.

and i've tried looking for the wires, i couldn't find them. sometimes its the wat, sometimes the puyban, sometimes just an a-hole that thinks they are important and talk for hours. time to bust out the mozart, not a chopin fan, or van halen, it's all good. :fryingpan: :fryingpan:

see, this is where the falangs get a bad name...playing your ac/dc soundtracks at full volume, overpowering the messages being given out to the local community - it's not right mortiboy - but, whatever makes you happy - \:D/

If you can't beat em join em Morti....rig up a speaker in your Garden...and spout verses from Romeo and Juliet or Read the Rules And Regulations Of The Road, even better select suitable topics from here and read out the posts...Global warming and the baht v's the dollar or missiles hitting pakistani towns....at certain set times of the day....that should do it....

NEVER!....plenty other countries though. But I made my life here.Is it too much to ask for peace and quiet? These people here are "conditioned' Its been drummed into them so long.
Ah well,6 months of stress to go!cutting down on the hard stuff's out the window now.Too stressed out!(note time )
Next time like stan says , make sure I do my home work first!when move house. But is there any escape from this forced dreadful noise? For some people, Noise can be so stressful.
I also worked at a airport. But that was unavoidable noise.Ear defenders dont solve the problem, can still hear that boring voice!
Another one is the open air movies! and The moorlum -sing parties.I thought there was a ruling stop the noise at 2 am? or is it 12.00 fortunatly none around this area. But can hear some times in the distance So someone gets ear bashing!but thats only now and then.
LA, You must be very tolerant! wish I was the same.Cutting wires would be replaced within days! Thought about that already. But Blow up the speaker mast better!
But who am I to say.I am only a guest here. Not my country. But everything else here is so good,it out weighs this annoyance.

Wonder how many residents actually listen to it and take it on board...maybe a few elders enjoy it.
