I have just returned home to Australia after a 10 week trip to Thailand. I had the great luck of doing a visa run through nong khai where i found Brendans & Noi's bar, what a bloody good bar and great host's one of the few bars i found with a pool table and the sports fans are well catered for. The food is great, recommend the western breakfast and the sunday roast is allways popular. Brendan also runs the ice bar(air conditioned) and the video shop opposite.I had such a good time there (was only passing through to lao)that i had trouble leaving the place.

The internet cafe is no longer open and has just been expanded to become part of the Ice Bar next door.

Brendan's just put in a table football in the Ice Bar. Unfortunately it is decorated with Man U logos and badges; people might think it's the toilet and use it accordingly.
