Heroin is mainly used by the vunerable of this world unemployed, homeless, abuse victims,in the 80's it ran riot in dublin, whole communties were destroyed, some famlies lost more then one member and it produced some of the most evil, violent thugs on this planet, crime soared, remote farms occupied by elderly were a favourite,i am really down on this **** and the people who traffic it .Thats all.

No worries, if you look back you can see he used this thread as a vehicle to bash Brits and he changed his tack when I pulled him up for it. He has a history of Brit bashing, he's not interested in whether heroin is evil or not. :fryingpan:

Chawk dee, Doug, have a good evening at the Night Market.

Some time ago the OP was made as a News item. Since then it has developed into a general debate, at times a bit heated.

Could we perhaps agree the the dealing trafficking etc of drugs is very wrong and wrecks lives, regardless of who is involved or indeed their nationalities. =D>

Maybe we could then finish there and put this thread quietly to bed, before it gets too personal, and OD's. ;)

Is this the same heroin that was freely available on prescription in the UK only 50 years ago? And in fact, seems to still be available legally http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/uk_news/magazine/4647018.stm

What has happened since then? Oh! - pressure from the US, and prohibition

Because he doesn't like Brits. He hijacked this thread as an excuse to bash us.

A good effort at flaming but still transparent. Don't remember praising anyone on this thread, maybe you could identify where I said that. An inference that I'm involved in the drugs trade? That's a fairly serious accusation ULICK. Did one of your imaginary Leprechauns give you that info? I'm starting to wonder whether you have another identity on this Forum.
