OK LA I predict that more falang orientated bars will open in Udon, there will be a number of them that change ownership on a regular basis and I will have been drunk in at least one of them

Also a new 500 bed hospital together with the current nurses training being moved to the the new site of the new Uni, open dat 2009, ( that is open to dispute, as Thais cannot build that fast)
The only problem raised at the meeting I was privy to was infrastructure, as roads currently in use are inadequate for the increase in traffic and would make any enlargement of facilities useless as no-one could get to them, let alone park, but this is Thailand and no doubt piecemeal improvement will be made.

Just stayed at the Top Mansion for a month, and like many on this forum have said in the past..... very noisy. Cant imagine it will get any better with Beer Bars opening up next door, back to the Ruysuk for me next time. Rumour has it that Joe wants to sell up so dont know what price to expect. Also heard Nobi has leased the Resteraunt from Joe, so does'nt have all his eggs in one basket. Clever man

Well that is good news. Fairly easy parking at the Ruysuk and surrounding area.

Sorry to say that everything apart from D" going even possibly the pet shops aroubd the corner. Only thing owned by owner ( new or old) is D2 so need money back.

As for noise in Top mansion soi, will get worse and when Top mansion 2 is built, well they will need to soundproof their rooms.
So anywhere else seems a definitely better idea.

Well, the petrol station is now flat & some of the shops at the front are in the process of being destroyed. Amazingly some of the other shops (and Tongs) still seem to be open for business.
At least there will be plenty of parking for D2 now...
