Tonight Friday 9th June, in honour of His Majesties 60th celebrations there will be a candlelight gathering @7.00pm inTung simuang park. Members of city hall will be in attendence and all are welcome.
There is also a funfair and the usual sideshows. it is on the ground known locally as the fair ground where the temple on udonmaps opening page is located. Maybe see some of you there.Val

Had a great time... got most of it on camcorder, including the excellent firework display.
saw Pop-pops and wife in the crowd, but didn't get the chance to speak as I was hussled away to get pics of local band 'Punch'... or 'Pan' as the Thai's say.
