And as I have said before, pompui, he is not my friend.

If you had been a bit quicker in reading the forum this morning, you may have seen where I gave him a pretty clear message.

Are you having a bad afternoon?

So what you are saying is there's a cecco who is a legit loser seeking advice on affairs of the heart, and another cecco, who is also a legit loser who's latest jolly jape is to highjack someone's moniker and pose as someone else?

Well yes...

The 'Not So Mighty Chang' is always masquerading as someone else or thing be it a bread bin,a hat stand, a or even a meat sausage, but cecco is cecco..who was seeking advice, whether some found it a rather odd story and that may well have started alarm bells ringing in the ' the government office of wind-ups room 101 troll department', but i think cecco is telling a genuine enough story and has no one else to share his troubles with...but us.

the clue is that chang added a commer , to the name cecco to get access to a new account, a little unfair on cecco with out a commer...also the joined dates where differant.

That is nearly correct tamada.
There is a cecco who has initiated a thread that may, or may not, be a genuine plea for assistance.
There is also a banned member of the forum who thought it would be clever of him to generate a new user name of cecco with the addition of a ',' and then post again.
I will not comment on what I believe is the mental state of either as I have never personally met them & neither am I a trained psychologist. However my untrained view is that both probably do need to seek professional help.

so if the original cecco without the commer was a genuine poster , in my view he was also a wind up merchant , or nutty as a fruit cake , if the latter then , we have done him a big favour chasing him away , as nobody on this forum is qualified to give him help or advice . come on , is anyone that pitiful or stupid . please . i can understand that some people get a great sense of security about their own situations when they read or see the misery and suffering of others , thats why soap operas are so popular , but theres gotta be limits . this guy was out there with the pixies . maybe i am paranoid , then again maybe im a realist . how exactly were you going to help this saddo from your monitors ?

Probably the latter if you insist on giving him a label. My point was that he wasn't a Troll or similar and that we need to stop looking for trouble makers every time someone we don't know, submits a post. There may be someone out there who we scared off but could have provided some worthwhile input to this site if he'd stuck around. Our collective paranoia looks hysterical to outsiders, which is why MC gets his rocks off through winding us up.

I see your point about people not being qualified to give advice to him about relationships and sometimes that advice others give can be very direct. But then this site was created to pass on advice to Farangs living in UTH and due to the nature of some Farang/Thai relationships, it's inevitable that some will resort to asking other Farangs about how they manage these relationships. Personally, I wouldn't air my dirty washing on this site if I was ever to have issues in my marriage and I do wonder about some people's judgement when they do (remember Buffalo Soldier?).

whilst i see your point about frightening new posters off with paranoia , which quite honestly is all down to changs flaming and disguises , any poster who comes on and tells you his life history , or the intimate details of his relationships , or inner feelings in his first few posts does raise suspicion . i will endeaver to be less spontanious in the future when i smell a rat .

I'm not talking about you but all of us. Brits tend to be very reserved about the intimate troubles in their relationships but other nationals will ask for help (IMO). We see it as a weakness and expect each other to work things out on their own rather than embarrass their friends with their problems.

MC is very bitter because he's been thrown out. Personally (and you won't like this) I think letting him back in as the Chang will solve a lot of problems. Unless he really has been out in the Sun too long and gone totally ga ga but I'd be willing to take that risk. Furthermore, don't forget that many people on this forum have been drinking when they post on this site and are more apt to react in a negative way rather than sit back and ask 'what's the other guy saying?'
