My wife is off to Home Pro with her mother to buy material to cover two rooms that are about 10 by 10.My wife fears Rats and Geckos and wants something more permenant than a suspened cieling.I haven't a clue what is commen in Thailand.I can't recall seeing drywall.Does anyone have an idea of what she will pick up and the cost.

I was going to suggest gypsum on an aluminium framework - however I suppose that is technically a suspended ceiling, yet more permanent than the square tiles you commonly see.
