The wife & I stopped in there several times when we were in Udon back in November. We never had any breakfast items, but the coffee was quite good and Ja speaks good English and is an excellent hostess. Looking forward to trying breakfast the next time we're in town.

Stopped in this morning for another great breakfast!
I had a three egg omelet stuffed with cheese, tomatoes & onions (could've added bacon & ham for same price), freshly brewed coffee (also tea is available), two pieces of toast are included but, I substituted two pancakes in lieu of toast. Total cost 99 baht.

I asked Ja what other baked goods she can make and she mentioned among other things, Cheesecake! She said she can make a cappuccino cheese cake, however I told her I was a purist and preferred a plain New York Style Cheesecake. She said she will do her best and let me know. I mentioned in a previous post, her Chocolate Tart is excellent, so I am looking forward to trying her New York Style Cheesecake.

I agree with Whiskeybravo, Ja is an excellent hostess.

damn snob................snobs unite..............my preference also, though if have to, will tolerated that blueberry or what ever topping, usually eating that in one swoop, then enjoying the 'cheese'cake. sounding like a good breadfast option. like the al a carte option of their breakfast menu. 8)

we used to use the old place , opposite the complex all the time . if we were going to town , would always go an hour early to eat there and people watch . felt realy sorry for her when she got her marching orders from the owners , after 4 years of hard graft . ive not been to the new place yet , must make the effort i guess , ja deserves all the success she gets , not only a good hostess but a very nice person . nice to see you guys giving her credit , where its due . :D :D :D
