Coffee Corner was situated opposite the Charoensri complex for a number of years,in between the travel agent and one of the internet shops.
It disappeared when Farang Alley plus the row of premises opposite the Charoensri were knocked down round about May last year.
It re-opened in its new premises a couple of months or so ago.Menu is much the same as the old place....breakfast,sandwiches,milk shakes, smoothies, coffee, tea, alcoholic beverages & thai food etc.
Food is decent and at a reasonable price as well.

Ok, was in the neighborhood, so stopped in to just check out the menu, as munched before leaving house and dinner already planned in house. Website is accurate, the menu is quite interesting, in that it give you plenty of options, especially if not a large diner, or want to pig out.

Breakfast starts at 99, this will be various egg, meat, toast selection w/coffee or tea. Good and bad news, depending what side of the big pond you are from, I did not notice baked beans on menu. Though the option to add hash browns 25 baht, or pancakes, 30, I think was available. Along with many other options, so if hungry or not, you can build as large as you like. Also breakfast sandwiches available w/ coffee or tea included for 85 baht, again, choice of breads or croissant. So should find something for your morning fix.

After breakfast menu, various sandwiches and some Thai western stuff. Didn’t see much bakery items on display, just some spice or banana cake it think, which makes sense, till customer base builds up. Plenty of different versions of coffee or tea, as with all similar shops, hot/cold/flavored. Along with smoothies and other beverages, including beer. L. Leo 60, chang 55, heiny 90, I think, please don’t quote my pricing, though I think within 5 baht, give or take. Didn’t notice anything over 100, most less w/beverage for breakfast. A nice simply though diverse menu, whether very hungry or not.

I’m, neither a morning or big breakfast person myself, but I know many are, so you have a new option to check out. Morning paper is available for you pleasure both English and Thai Bangkok post I think it was.

May pop in one of these days for an actually dining review, as nothing there going to break the bank, and quiet inside for little meet up and chit chat. Nice option if too hot or buggy out if on the way to monthly meet up, as in the area.

Menu looks like it’s well worth a peek, along w/Zidane’s previous review of past location.

So bumped up again, but sorry, need to dine in next few days, as out of town for a few, or I’d so some sampling myself.

Good luck

After the urging of one of my friends for a couple of months. We stopped in yesterday morning.
We had an order of French Toast, 30 baht for two slices, very good (I think it would be even better if she used thicker sliced bread,IMO). An order of pancakes, also 30 baht for two. Two scrambled eggs, 20 baht. Large fresh brewed coffee, 55 baht, and a cappuccino, I think 40 baht. There is also full breakfasts offered along with croissant breakfast sandwiches. Plus everything else LA mentioned.
Ja has also started baking cakes. We took home two slices of a layered Chocolate Cake and a slice of Chocolate Tart. =P~ =P~ =P~ 30 baht per slice and well worth it. The Chocolate Tart was more like fudge on a good graham cracker crust. Exactly how I like it! :D
Coffee Corner is actually located on the soi that runs between Prajak Rd. and the soi that Silver Reef B&B is on.
I will be back.

sounds good, did she have maple syrup or honey for the FT/pancakes ? my preference, maple syrup.

for those not familiar, it is on the same street the irish clock is on, but the other side of road, as mentioned, heading toward SR B&B, bus station, on left about half way, easy to spot.

thanks Mark, i like the ala carte menu, for those liking to mix things up.

No, you won't find the English Full Load Breaky there but,

I also like the ala carte option, usually the price works out the same or less than a "set" breakfast, except one gets exactly what they want.
As far as the hash browns go. They probably use those frozen hash brown patties, which if nuked, won't be very tasty.
The best way to cook the frozen hash browns is to take a lightly oiled frying pan, get it really hot...then put the patties on the oiled surface for a minute or so on each side. Works best if the patties are thawed or slightly thawed (can be thawed in the microwave). IMO.
Perhaps the owner will read this and try that method.
Sorry LA, you'll have to bring your own maple syrup or make a suggestion to the owner ;) .
Coffee Corner is another good addition/option to Udon's growing number of restaurants, and it's not only for breakfast.

Would that would put it somewhere near the Orange Moon then? :-k

no, keep going, cross the street that goes to train station, then continue toward silver reef bb, half way down that block, on the left.

So it's not actually on "the same street as the Irish Clock" then.
Thank god for that, I thought I was going blind.

Yes and no, it's on the same soi as The Clock, but continue on the soi across Prajak Rd. Or you can turn right into from Prajak Rd., if you are heading towards the Train Station. Or, if you are heading down the soi Silver Reef is on, towards the Bus Station, turn right onto the soi before you get to Silver Reef.

Correct.

We went there last week and it was fine. The coffee tasted like coffee and the yoghurt/muesli thing was nice. The BLT was also perfectly acceptable.

I, like another poster, prefer thick slices of bread, so any sandwich served with standard sliced bread is never going to get top marks from me. I will definitely return though. 7/10.
