Hi all,

I have travelled throughout Thailand and unless l have been unlucky when staying in accommodation and paying around 750 - 1,000 baht per night the mattresses are extremely hard.and uncomfortable. This post is not a whinge but more to find out if hard mattresses is the preferred norm or do BM's prefer the softer western style mattress. Would an accommodation venue that advertises more comfortable mattresses benefit from the business of expats even if the accommodation was more expensive.

Pakalang Mansion had the most comfortable mattress that I've ever experienced. The rate was under 400 baht per night. King size bed and very very comfy!

The only one that compares in Udon is the Irish Clock, and they're in the 750 baht range.
