I heard a rumor and only a rumor......which I hope isn't........UD Centre had a post that Star Bucks and McDonalds were coming soon......has anyone seen that....sorry if my mouth is dripping , but I want my McD's.

Agreed BM if the burger resembled your picture I would be there in a shot but sadly the soggy bun, dry meat and last weeks veg that is reality just does not cut it.
Whats even more sad is that I guarantee I will go there and regret it after

McD's, high in fat, high in salt, low in fibre, what a bonus for Udon! Only McD's i like is the banana milkshake, which is REALLY REALLY healthy. Except, maybe high in saturated fat and, high in calories and, lacking anything of a banana but, well, it tastes nice.

the only reason i would be pleased to see a mcdonalds in udon , is because it would stop me wanting one !!!!!! like most things you always want what you cant have . and i think food gravings , are all in the mind . in your head it tastes great , right , but how many do actualy taste that great ? lets be honest , a mcds burger isnt what you could call appetising is it . yet because i cant get one , i still want one !!!!! i know if there was one here , i would use it about once a year . sometimes life just gets a little wierd .

I've also heard that Thai Airways, Air Asia will be putting on extra flights to bring in the farang hordes craving to sample this 'Thai experience'.

I also read that Nok Air is putting on direct flights, 3 times a day from Pattaya to Udon and return, just to cater for the lager louts who are looking to travel up here just to beat up the locals

I hope its true about Mc Donalds coming to udon,you cannot beat it for value for money,Big Mac,Large french fries,Large pepsi,all for just over 100 bht ! No more fat in there burgers than anybody else's burgers,100% beef. Also a lot of thai food is cooked with added MSG,and cooked in PALM OIL.

I look forward to the Starbucks arriving, not so sure about McDonalds though.
