Hey there. I'm new here but I see already what a cool forum this is, and I'm sure I'll be using it alot, starting now.

So where the heck are the Computer, IT, & Electronics shops in Nong Khai? Besides Lotus I mean and the so-called IT Center that just opened there? With the usual junk I might add.

Where is a good place or places to buy computers, get them fixed, order comp. things, and get help when needed? I sure don't see many of these kind of shops walking around town! And cant find much online either.

How about DVDs? Documentaries or movies? I'm starting to get the feeling that the best place to get anything in NK is in Udon or Vientianne!

Please tell me I'm wrong! Any tips much appreciated.

Dude, there are some dotted about here and there. There is one I have used on the piece of Dual carriageway road between the fountains and the Naga (Payanak) archway, near the Singer shop, - sorry I don't know the road name. There are a couple more just outside the Tesco complex on the main road itself.

If you take the rear exit out of Tesco Lotus, the small road, there are 3 computer spares and repair shop on the road towards the bridge end of town. Nothing too special though, just the usual fix and repair places but all carry a good selection of accessories.

Thanks for the tips, will have a look. You mean on the main road to the train station, Sean? Not far from where that little, bumpy road behind Lotus spills out on to the highway?
