A rather unpleasant investigation against a farang bar.Just heard on the local news the police are investigating the lady owner of a farang bar.( Name not yet disclosed)Apparently a worried mother was trying to trace her missing 15 year old daughter. She was told she was working at a certain bar. She visited the place with the intention of taking her daughter back home, but was told by the proprietor she would have to pay them 5,000bht compensation to do that.She left without even being able to see the child, but went straight to the police who are investigating. Now if a farang is involved in this, then , in my view , that's really sick. Rest assured I will publish the bars name, as soon as it is revealed.

Sorry not sure which channel I heard it on as the wife hops around them all, however it has now been reported, accompanied by a picture , online at Udondee.They also give the bar location as Adunyadet Rd.

Trubit not familer with Udoneee please post a link to the story etc

To my knowledge, there is only 3 Farang bars on this Soi, so therefore it should not be hard to figure out which bar it is.

Justin has one bar, who to my knowledge has never employed under age girls.

Recently there has been two bars opened near enough next to one another, which appears to have a fair number of girls in attendance.

In my opinion, if a bar owner employs under age girls in a bar, they deserve to receive whatever penalties the powers to be feel inclined to dispense.

Nothing further has been officially released. Lots of rumours but as this is a delicate matter I won't repeat them.

Not heard nothing, buit bars frequented by farangs might be the actual thing here, which means any bars including some Thai bars as well, now that is probably more likely as some utilise our laos neighbours to provide the icing on the cake so to speak.
I'll keep gently digging.
