I'm a Paolo Hospital client. They may charge more than others in Udon, but there is professional ethic there that gives peace of mind.

Last time I was in Udon in January I broke the top off a drilled and capped tooth. That was quite expensive at ฿9000 to rebuild a new cap and refit it, although it did involve about two hours work. I think the dentist feel bad about price, although they are set by the hospital, and she did 7 cosmetic fillings for me at ฿3000. Still dirt cheap compared to what I would have to pay here in Kiwiland.

My hoorah for AEK Udon Dental Clinic

PostAuthor: FrazeeDK » June 28, 2006, 7:06 pm

I've had one crown put on and one broken one repaired at AEK Udon in the last four years.. I also go every six months for a checkup and cleaning. Very professional, very polite.. The full crown cost me about 10,000 Baht and took two visits; the first to take impressions, grind the old tooth down and fit a temp crown, the second to fit the final crown...
Word of advice.. Make an appointment, preferably for a weekday when they're usually not so crowded. On weekends they're jammed..

I recently broke a tooth and so went to a dentist opposite the bus station, known as Wattra Dental Clinic. She did a quick and neat job with no pain or injections. Cost 500 baht. I subsequently got them cleaned -cost 400 baht.

I decided not to go to AEK, as I thought they would be unnecessarily expensive.
