Same here. I haven't been able to connect for the past two hours. Now that I'm back online I have limited or no access to many local and international websites. Maybe someone has cut trough a wire or pulled a plug somewhere. :-s

Don't suppose someone had pressed the wrong button while putting the new firewall together

With TOT I was able to connect to sites wholly within Thailand as usual this morning, but sites outside were inaccessible. Not, nothin' works - unable to connect to the DNS.

Fortunately, my AIS backup connection still works fine. That's how I managed to log on.

I am anxious to hear how a neighbor's experience with TTT goes later this month, because having the internet go out is a bit inconvenient (glad I completed that 608MB OS update this morning before things shut down!)

Yes its back and your probably right they had to disconnect so they could install their new blocking and spying equipment.
Of course when you say back to normal I presume you mean back to the dial up type speed we experience with our broadband. I thought Mr Thaskin invested a lot of money in Thailands communication system? [-X

It's most likely the weather, as I suffered the same fate, but usually after prolonged heavy rain!

Flooding following heavy rains usually affects communications, including mobiles.

Sorry to say that the weather forecast for the next 3-4 ndays is not good, but TIT
