Hi all,
I've seen many posts talking about slow internet speed in Thai. There are mainly two reasons:
1. Slow/Poor local connectivity: Depending on what package/solution you subscribe. Usually mobile wireless (GPRS) is slower than fixed line or Wireless LAN access. To improve this, you will have to find better local provider and subscribe higher(speed) package to resolve it. In addition to speed, the reliability of connectivity is also very important. Without satisfactory download speed from local (Thai) websites, we can not even talk about the next step.
2. Slow international speed: The international bandwidth in Thai is under investment and is very very expensive so surfing the web with visiting most US/EU/AU sites is usually slow and some even unacceptable in response time. If you are the one who require faster international speed for your blogging, news, or even doing business, you now have solution -- I can provide some package for international acceleration which in the world targets enterprise website acceleration for their end-user/customers. It can improve about 50%~100% of your download speed in average with affordable price per month. If anyone is interested in the solution, please contact me.

In Bangkok, the problem may not be such worse but how about in Undon Thani, Nong Khai or any other smaller city? If you have long term stay or Thai already becomes your second home country or you have important business rely on Internet quality. You may be interested in the detail. I now stay in Undon (Porsi Rd.) and were almost crazy for the slow / worse internet speed when the first week I just arrived. Now I'm very happy with the fastest quality ever been. I can even get over 100KB downloading from some website in New York City.
