Dog remains loyal to diseased Monk

Udon Thani police station was called out on October 22, 2008 to Phoethiwararam Temple to investigate a suicide.
There they discovered the body of Mr Pra Somepong, 51 years hanging from a rope. Next to him was his loyal dog, named Bobo who was his pet for over 2 years.
Apparently it was Bobo’s barking that alerted people to the body, the police say that the dog had remained beside the monk for some time.
Pra Somepong was ordained at this temple in 1999 and had recently been suffering from gout and heart disease.
The body has been taken to the local hospital for an autopsy and Bobo is in safe hands at the temple.
