Download port

Hey guys, my utorent refuses to download, when i activate it tells me all systems OK but as soon as I start to down load the yellow lights up,nothing being received. It is on my f/wall exception list and I have opened the port it said was closed, all to no avail.Have also made sure that there active seeds etc. anyone out there know the answer? 8-[ thanks pc

yeah i was trying to make a download last night only she kept moving all over the bed
being rather evasive. No, my utorent was more or less willing, systems ok i think she
was just being a little tease. and then asking me "are you through yet" can you imagine? :razz:

Does the torrent you are trying to download have a 'waiting time' attached to it, a number of torrent sites that you have to 'sign up' for have this feature enabled.

If that is not the problem, are you using a wireless router? It could be an issue with the port forwarding or something.

I presume you have downloaded from the site you use with no problems before...

Thanks, yes i"m using a wireless modem. I'll try asking on uTorrent about problems with same. pc.

Have a browse through the site http://www.portforward.com it's full of info on how to set up your router/modem to make the most of torrent sites.

Which version of uTorrent are you using, pc? I have 1.8.1 and downloading a hockey game right now with no problems.

I'm using uTorrent 1.8.2. I remember when using it (uTorrent) first I also had yellow/red icon. I configured router as advised and it also took a bit of reading up on it and playing with settings to get it right.
