This is part of Doc's posting to explain what happened to the Dream Team.

The rest of the post and subsequent posts relating to the Tourist Police have been moved to a new topic: "Support the Tourist Police".

Doc wrote:OK - now the facts as they have been related to me...

The three clowns were renting a house from one of the Thai Tourist Police here in the village. They were there a full 3 or 4 days, and now have been evicted by way of the Monkey House - but, from what I understand, are once again walking about in civilization as we know it. Don't know where they are staying.

They are totally dependant upon a social security check from the UK. As a result, they have run up more bar tabs than one can imagine. They ran up a 2,000 Baht bill at the local market here in the village in just one day.

Rather than take up a collection to send them back to the UK - I say just drop them off in Laos and don't let them back in. Laos can take care of them quite well. LOL

The picture was taken in the house that they were renting. Apparently they had been on the piss for the entire day, and started fighting with each other. No real crime was done since they were not attacking another Thai - and they aren't going to press charges against each other. A few weeks ago, the smallest one popped a falang in the nose at Tongs, but technically, the falang asked for it - so a crime really wasn't committed except in the strictest sense.

That they have been a source of trouble for a number of months is no secret. Falangs have been complaining about them to each other for a long time, but complaining amongst ourselves does nothing to aleviate anti-social behavior from other falangs that we find to be offensive.

As I understand it the 2 brothers are on the run for not paying bar bills in Bangkok. The younger Paul was living in Udon 2 years ago so he thought it would be the ideal place to "get out of dodge".

Udon is also where allegedly Paul was caught for outrageously over staying his visa and after a period o ftime in immigrations monkey house, he was deported back to the UK!

Why has Thailand allowed him back in? simple he changed his surname via "Deed Poll".

The 2 brits have been attempting numerous scams on local expats here in Udon for some time now!
One of which was trying to get people to invest in their  consortium to purchase & takeover Mojo's:idea: from Alan a.k.a. "Mr Happy"

It may be all over for the one seated on the right of the picture in the not too distant future!
I can confirm he is on monthly voa's (Visa On Arrival) (His Last Visa Run was two days ago on the 15/10/2006)
How do i Know? .....I own a business close to the friendship bridge & spoke with him briefly as he passed by after arriving back this side of the border

Astana Thanks!
Mr Happy is quite fitting for Alan i feel in an ironic sort of way, Glad you like it!

Alan was never quite the same since he found out this was the "Land Of Smiles" and not the "Land Of Scowls" as he thought!

To be fair to Alan though & all joking apart i did enjoy the food in Mojo's he is a very good chef! No doubts abut that!

Also in a perverse sort of way i enjoyed his company too!
As all my daily trials & tribulations were nothing compared to Alan's!
I always left his place feeling full after having eaten well & all my problems had gone!

On the odd occasion i had an earache, but that was a small price to pay!

Long Live Mr Happy!

best of luck with your next business venture Alan wherever & whenever tht may be.

If they are in Laos and continue playing the games that they were playing here, it won't be long that they find themselves in the Monkey House and then facing deportation.

Last I heard was that Simon was teaching English in Nong Khai - which should scare the hell out of everyone. Also heard that they were going to have to come up with 20K plus for visa over stays.

If they are gone - and don't return - then LOS is better off.
