Okay BM got me thinking... For starters how do you merge 2 photos or to be more accurate cut a person out of a photo and place them in another?

I have just got (only last weekend) Coral Paintshop pro X1 and its not easy to get a grip of in this early stage...trial and error.

I did hear a new user friendly version of these photo shop programs is available now.
You need to copy and have the photos side by side.
Try using 'Freehand selection tool' to cut out and move faces and stuff Alan, as i say trial and error...i have spent sometime working out how some of it works, there is instructions but as we are men we don't need them..

Ah... There I was jumping to conclusions thinking Photoshop was the only game in town. I used to have Paintshop Pro (pre-Corel - JASC???) yeeeeeears ago when it was a freebie in a computer magazine.

I'd hate to have to cut freehand using the mouse... Haven't the steadiest hand...

Just last week, adobe systems announced a free simple web-based version

www.photoshop.com/express

would be available in test mode, i'm trying to pick up a new hobby and learning
the pro version is a bit daunting. i guess there are other photo sharing sites which
have some editing functions but adobe is the zerox in the photo world.
