I've had the following error message 3 times in the last couple of days. Don't know if it's me or something you should know about. If it's not anything to do with you that end then please disregard this message.
General Error
SQL ERROR [ mysql4 ]
Can't connect to local MySQL server through socket '/var/lib/mysql/mysql.sock' (111) [2002]
An sql error occurred while fetching this page. Please contact an administrator if this problem persists.

Same for me almost everyday and at the same time as you statto.....just keep re-trying and it goes back to normal, BUT always at the same time.. 
we did post about it a few weeks back and Lee did note it.
