Well, given the lack of use and books posted I guess you guys don't think there's a need for a book swapping site.
Thanks to those of you who did register and post. I'll leave the site as is, in a working state, and check back on it from time to time.
If however more members register and post I'll spend more time with it.

Chriss,I apologize for not posting books after I said I would,but I think a bookswapping night of the month might be easier and more convenient.

I have read so many fiction books,I practicly need to see them ,read a little bit,to know if I read it in the past or not.As it is lately,I have been getting about 10 books a month from Fuzzy Kens and if I pick to quickly,I get home to NK and find That I have read some of them!

I would suggest that at a NM get together or another ''regular'' monthly meeting date,those that want to swap books should bring a bag or two,15-30,and we can see them.

The listing might work better if someone is looking for a particular book,author or books they might loan,but want back!

chriss i did try to register but every time it said registration NOT VALID .... i dont know what i,m doing wrong but i did say in my other post i,m not to hot on the old laptop ...
if like stan said you wanted to meet some night to swop books that woud be no prob ...
i could even bring my com some1 might show me how to use the dam thing .. .

Chriss, for me anyway, it's not that at all. It's an excellent idea and generous of you to donate
your time. I just struggle with the "regular site" enough and the idea of registering and wading
through more technical problems is about the last thing I'm up for. Next to BkkStan's rather
common sense solution, maybe the classified section has provisions for book trading. I'm just
a simple, functional internet user and basic tasks like loggin in and out and posting are often
problematic as it is. The internet rarely seems to be working at designed speeds and many
websites cease to function at less that optimum conditions. oh my god, i'm a twisted bitter expat?
