Where is The Winchester Club in Udon, I understand that is a members only place. But only 1 guy I met had heard of it, in fact he was the one telling me about it, he even had a card with his name on it \:D/ bragging, or :^o :^o

The only Winchester Club I know of was in Jomtien, it later changed it's name to The Blind Beggar. I think it is closed now.
I think I've found the perfect location the club: http://www.udonmap.com/classifieds/show ... /500/cat/3
we all just chip in a few baht apiece... The ad even has drawing of what we could accomplish.
We could drop the wives/gf's at the mall...and retire to our club.

A couple of questions... maybe 3.

Is there a NM meeting on Saturday night, 6th?

Are any of the isaan old bowling duffers planning attending?

If yes on both counts, where EXACTLY do you meet? I had a brewski with a mate afew weeks back on some yellow metal seats and tables beside those beer mountain/fountain things and there was a huge screen over my shoulder. Was I close?

I didn't realise there was a "line up" to be accepted, I thought that queue was those waiting for Val to move tables

I get to the night market earlier than most and sit at a table and await the arrival of my wife and kid, who, invariably are off shopping or chatting somewhere. Now when other members arrive, they see me and sit and chat, so like that the meeting comes to me. more chairs and tables are added, and I find myself at "The Meeting" So when my family get there I say my excuses and sit with them somewhere else.

When is good time to show up? I may have Her Excellency and His Royal Highness in tow and the latter rules how long mummy and daddy can go out and play.
