Gents,,, there are many different reasons for people to look for others, some are valid and some can be downright dangerous for the "findee". A cautious attitude is certainly warranted by those who think they are only helping. 'nuff said.

Well said LoongLee!Responding to a new poster is especially precarious because you do not know the true motives and situation.

If the poster was willing to give their personal information or picture for ID purposes and state what the motive is ,including ,maybe,what they wanted to return that was so important,that might help!At least if we knew the person he is interested in,we could pass on the info for them to decide for themselves!

But to ask for personal information about someone else without identifying themkselves is over the top.

And for us to pass out info about someone to a complete stranger is unethical at best!

Very interesting picture irish Alan, and extremely commendable trying to help poor macdaddy1687 find this girl he was looking for. However, is this an Udon bar by chance? I was very much interested in the lighting, and, the decor, and. well on my next Udon visit wouldn't mind checking it out for its umm, atmosphere, and, ambience as it were. Its a pity the girls are sitting there cos it hides the bars full effect as it were. So, not for the girls of course and certainly not for any girl sitting second from left or anything like that, but just so i can have a quiet drink there, and for any other members who don't know who might want to, what bar is it!?

Yes Phil not only is this a bar in Udon but it is actually what was Pla & Jerome's. They have moved on and I believe have a place in Nutty Park (yes/no?) The photo is quite old so no doubt those staff have also probably moved on. I just thought the OP's friend might be one of them.

Thanks for that feedback. When you're stuck here in UK, to see a lovely smley picture like that is, is very nice indeed! Now the bar gone, staff moved on, old photo, oh well, never mind. Still the lovely picture lives on, so, thanks for posting it!

BKKSTAN,,,,, yes, my point(s) exactly,,, you expressed it better than I did. I, among others, have made my quips and remarks about this "situation" and had our fun but it does need to be taken seriously. I know I wouldn't want to feel responsible if someone got physically or emotionally hurt because I gave out information without thinking.

After reading the UM forum posts and members comments for a couple of years, I feel certain the forum members would jump right in and help any and all requests (within reason) that were legitimate. I've seen members provide assistance of all types, I'm sure most could remember better than I can recall.

To sum up, I'm sure the forum could possibly help if Macdaddy1687 is still out there and provides some info,,,, and based on the "findee" having option to not be found, if that's what she wants. LL

Ok to put a good face on this post, having asked many people I know who have worked in the bars, no-one recognises the girl, many know some of thewm but it seems your young lady is a touch mysterious.
I have not spoken to the old boss as yet, she is also a touch elusoive.
