You might want to look around your area and when you see an Aussie and a Thai lady, just walk up to them and ask them how they obtained the visa for her to arrive in OZ

I went through the process for a trip back in Oct.2006 This was for her and her daughter.

First I ensured we had many dated pics from when we first met untill a few days before applying.

I helped her fill out the application and as we had had a non official wedding ( monks only) she was able to state her occupation as house wife and home maker.

I wrote a letter outlining my income, included bank statements downloaded from the internet, stated I would be responsible for her medical bills and living expenses in Australia.

As I receive a pension from the Australian Govt. and had a statement from them I included that also.

Be very sure you do not lie in the application as they may call you back and question you seperately.

It took about 4 days and her passport and visa were couriered to Udon.

You do not apply at the embassy now but at the Australian Visa service on the top floor of the Chinese Chamber of Commerce building. If I can find the skytrain station I will post it next time.

Good luck
