we recently stayed at the danish baker in nong khai and i must say that it was brilliant. our room was really smart with a great shower and aircon,in fact all the rooms were brand new. the food was very good and the menu very extensive, catering for falang and thai, all the staff were very happy to help with all aspects of our stay, including laos visa advice,we wanted for nothing, if you are planning a trip to nong khai we would highly recomend the danish baker as your base point, they are lovely people, children friendly and very knowlegable about everything in the city
