Hair Transplant in Thailand

PostAuthor: vainiac » January 24, 2008, 1:20 pm

My hair loss is increasing and I don't like it. I'd like to reverse it if possible. I hear that Thailand is somewhat popular for cosmetic surgery, due to lower costs and similar quality to the west.

Hair restoration in the US is too expensive for me. I wonder if it's affordable in Thailand. More importantly, is the quality of hair transplants by Thai doctors. I've heard it takes more than medical knowledge and skill. Creating a natural looking head of hair takes an artistic touch.

Has anyone had hair restoration done or know of anyone who has in Thailand or a nearby country? If so, I'd appreciate hearing about it. Ideally, I'd like to find some doctor or clinic names to follow up on.

Thanks

(Please don't waste time telling me I shouldn't care about this. I know that in the big picture it means nothing. Nevertheless, it matters to me.)
