I just did a test and got: 1.19 Mbps,

....."which means that you can download at: 151.79KBps."

... if that's of any help.

I use TT&T Maxnet, so I don't know if you can do that if using TOT.

Danish,
There are plenty of speed checkers available on the net. Just try 'advanced' Googling on it - you may even get a site written in Danish that way.

I have just used
speed test

and got this result...

This is from a server in the States.
I'm on GPRS & the rate varies hugely depending on what time of the day I use.[/img]

Tried that Jack and it only took me 4 mins 45 secs to get to the site. Still waiting the test results. Guess I've got to get the missus peddling the dynamo harder

Oh, here it comes now 29Kbs - Bloody GPRS.

Upgraded your power supply, Dero?

Last time we spoke you were using captured field rats, something like this:

Yes, you pay for 1 Megabit, and you got one megabit. 128 kB (yte, note the capital letter) is 8 x a value in bit.

Seems you have the same problem as anyone, super-slow connections to any server outside of Thailand...

A fellow who works in IT told me that data rates from servers outside Thailand are often slower because all internet traffic goes through a government operate gateway, and that gateway is not very wide.

Its part of the small price we pay so we can be protected against material that is immoral or damaging to the country. :boogle:

You mean there is something more immoral and damaging in the country than immigration?
