Home cooking

PostAuthor: mortiboy » June 29, 2008, 6:34 pm

As everyone now in bored mode,a topic some maybe interested
Home cooking. As alot of us nothing to do all day,I wonder if some guys like make their own grub.
As there is some food from" back home" is not available here,I try "make my own."
I go on the Internet, copy off recipies.and do a DIY!
but most times It gets thrown away!
I check the ingredience.Off up to Big C, only to find half the stuff "NO HAB"
HP sauce, I tried make it.Dates and all!.......crap! taste like nothing on earth!
Branston pickle,I have 5 jars of the copy mixture.I try eat it with some of that crap immature New Zealand cheese they sell here.
It aint good!I try convince myself.....Mmmmm That tastes nice! ...Its not! I hav'nt the heart to chuck it! Why? after all that work I put into It!
But I have had some success.
Steak and kidney pie, cottage pie, and HEY! fish n' chips! Perfect!
PICKLED ONIONG! No problem!
But of course there are products just cant be imitated just crave for "real mature cheese" Canadian Mature cheese? ever tried it? Boy I miss that!
Then English sausages! not that smoked stuff, taste of plastic!Ok american guys dont know about this. But Im sure they miss their stuff too!
You cant get decent smoked back bacon here! It just aint the same!
Yes, I know loads of products can be bought here, But nice to make your own! Why not!

There's a pattern developing here, Mortiboy.

Those ingredients that you put in your own food might give you bad wind.

The wind is so bad that you continually fart at night.

The noise and smell are so bad that you wake yourself up (and Mrs. Mortiboy).

You can't sleep due to self induced pollution - you put a post on the forum to see if anyone else has the same problem with insomnia.

I rest my case.

Quite so, Furthermore, Newton's third law states that action and reaction are equal and opposite. Breaking wind in space means that you could potentially travel in one direction for ever. :-k

Mortiboy, you can thank Buddha that you are bound to this Earth by gravity. Otherwise, your unhealthy amount of flatulence could have you spinning off towards Pluto.

I didn't know that spinach could give you windy pops, I'll have to try that one.

Good point - if you're gonna fart then you might as well make it smell nice. :freak:

Husband: 'that's nice perfume, darling, what is it?'

Wife: 'I'm not wearing anything honey, I've just windy popped.'
