I have a very annoying cyst in my ear lobe, to be be honest it needs to be gone. Can anyone recommend a small surgery that will take care of it without the need to go to hospital?

I,when a young man,suffered with this problem.underneath the root or each earlobe.really painful! I had this problem every 2-3 months.The amount of discharge when erupted was huge!In the end, I went to the doctor.He Lanced them.took no time at all.No pain either.I never had a problem after that.Small procedure,local anesthetic,takes 10 minutes or so.

stop it you whimp................next time you're wasted, have the missus lance it. take some antibiotics couple days before. save the money on the doc, that's all he/she is going to do. and it will hurt less, because he won't give you anything for the pain......................though make sure the wife is in a good mood.

yea, it was hard to do and hold the mirror at the same time. oh, love the new avatar.

the damn needle for the vasetomy wasn't nearly as bad as a friend discribed, rather easy proceedure, though little uncomfortable doing the 2nd side, as apparently got spooked during the 1st side and decided to hide, having to be yanked back down in position to get snipped. sort of like the opposite of that other nut dropping at puberty, and you are all welcome for my sharing this.

Roy, if deciding do lance it yourself, make sure it is on the outside, and push all the inner material away from head. hate to have any infectious material make to blood vessels and in to head, may have a negative affect. if you ever lanced a boil, too many for myself, or shall i say Gem, it's an easy process, it in decent location. earlobe is fairly safe/dead zone, but antibodies before hand, just in case. amoxycillin is fine, also used for ear infections and skin infections, so should do the trick. 500 mg 2 or 3 times a day.

I went to three reputably good clinics and at each one they were talking about removing the gland on my neck that is swollen due to fighting the infection in my ear
I am thinking a mirror and a Stanley Knife is the best way to go, safer than these quacks
