Can anyone advice me on what you would expect to pay for a reasonable size, 2 storey, 3 or 4 bedroom house in Udon or Nong Khai these days?

I recollect a couple of years back 2 storey houses on the First Homes development in Udon were going for about 1.6m baht, I would guess now about 2.4m ??

I recently saw some new ones in Ban Chonrada at 3.9m and some in Nong Khai for about 2.4m up.

Can anyone add to the above, please?

Arjay,You can buy a " New Build " in N/K from about 1.8 Million,ALL depends on the area YOU want to live in.......

We are in the process of finalizing the house we want to build in Nong Wor Sor... To build to "American" standards, we are being quoted 10,000 baht/sq meter...Does not include upgraded kitchen appliances and air conditioning but does include kitchen appliances for outside Thai kitchen..

Bought a bungalow just outside Udon Thani 1.08M Baht, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. They do houses on same estate from two million upwards depending on how much land you require and the spec. of the house.

RJ, Tanadon Home Place were doing a pitch in Big C today, so I picked up a leaflet.
There 2 stories start at 2.1M (for a 80 sq.wa plot 129 sq.m living area) up to 5.7M (for a 200 sq.wa plot 380 sq.m. living space). That is just outside the ring road in Udon.

Thanks Bob, that is fairly consistent with what I saw in Nong Khai, though I would expect NK prices to be a bit lower than Udon.

I saw stuff at 2.0 - 2.2m for 2 storey 70 sq wa plot, with 140 sqm accommodation. Or 2.3m for 165 sqm accommodation. If you wanted a larger plot, additional land (on the development) was charged at 10K per sq wa.
