How is Sal?

Someone told me that Sal is now back at home.

How is he? Has his memory come back yet?

He is at home and recovering rapidly. Walking with crutches but also manages to get along without them occasionally. If you go to see him, he seems to want to talk constantly and doesn't care about the subject... just wants to talk. He's able to recognize most folks but not always and when he's talking he often change the subject without notice but enjoys having guests come over.

ScorlpionPower, yes he does. He even recognizes guests that come for a visit but if you ask if he remembers so-n-so, he will probably be stumped. Seems to have trouble putting faces to names but names to faces is OK.

Glad to hear he's coming along, we go back to when John Hysen had "The International Bar", and Ben Hur ran a Taxi service! :D

I saw Sal in the Irish Clock having a meal on the 4th of may I think. I didn't talk to him as he was with friends but he seemed in reasonably good health.

the wife and i ran into Sal the other day at robinson's...he's doing good...he recognized me this time...we only spoke for a couple of minutes, but he is sounding and looking great...he did complain about putting on a few pounds, but he can live with that.

I can also verify Sal is back to as close to a 100 % as I could see. Had a little chit chat with him today at Carrefour. Missed him Gus, he said to pass along salutation to you.

But an amazing recovery, from near death, to extremely spacey, to sharp as a tack again. The brain is an amazing thing, don’t know how, and sometimes it takes a long time, but luckily, sometimes it figures it way back on line, simply amazing.

Ask how he was doing, and he replied, ‘oh you heard about it, when?

Since about day one, on udon map, many people concerned and worried, some you know, some you don’t. so he express his amazement and gratitude for that. And of course, couldn’t pass on enough praise to his lovely wife, and staff at hospital for their tolerance.

a true happy ending =D> =D> 8)
