Hyperlink. - how to

PostAuthor: Gozzo » October 28, 2007, 6:27 pm

I am a simple Aussie who has been left behind by technology. Is there a kind person out there that can give me a nudge in the right direction on how to insert a hyperlink. Just where to look might be sufficient as I'm sure I could figure it out.

I have a Toshiba notebook with windows xp and I'm just trying to improve myself in the computer department. It's a slow process but time is something I have plenty of. Any clues would be much appreciated and I'll even buy the beers when I get there in November. Anyone??

A simple way, if you're looking at the website of the hyperlink you want to insert copy the hyperlink from your internet browser and paste it onto an open email page. Copy by highlighting the hyperlink and right click and copy. Paste, place the curser where you want the hyperlink to appear and right click and paste.

If you want to make a hyperlink from scratch on an email type out the hyperlink address make sure you use the 'www' and the .com or whatever the suffix is and it should automatically become a hyperlink.

Well, this is how I do it, if theres other ways anyone please add to this reply
