Which hospital would you try to get to?
I believe the University Hospital in Khon Kaen is one of the best in Isaan but what about AEK or the Military Hospitals. I've been to both as a visitor, they appear to be OK but are they?

I don't think that in many cases you have an option.
You seem to get taken to whichever hospital despatched the 'ambulance' (or rather pick up truck) - in the case of say a road accident.

If you are referring to something where you do indeed have time to choose where you will attend - I too have heard the Military hospital is good - also Paulo, near to City Lodge.

I have had experience in Wattana - which was ok. By that I mean I am still alive and kicking although not anywhere near the standards I would expect in my home country.

Like most things here - much of the time it seems to be a gamble.
