I think there is a difference. The Issan people thread started because of a posting from another site (Stickman). While that poster may well have been a troll & as well some of the subsequent postings to the thread may well have been of a trolling nature I am certain that the original poster to the Udonmap site did not post it to cause that. This post is of a different nature. It is, in my opinion, intended deliberately to cause controversy. So I will certainly not enter into the discussion except to say that...

thanks for your posting. I stayed away from the rubbish about Issan people for the same reason, I feel that even republishing it had the purpose of stirring controversy. It was an insult to my favorite people on this planet - the Lao / Issan people.
I don't regard this thread on prostitutes as trolling. I know there are some who will say how they are helping the Thai Economy by visiting prostitutes, yet others my share some valid opinions.
Trolling may not be all that bad, if those responding do not try to force their opinions on others, or attack others for their simple thoughts and feelings.

It has all been said a million times before. Even this reply is just wasting time...cut...
