Jungle Bar, Nong Khai

The owner of the Jungle Bar, Greg, has just relocated a little further East on the Rim Khong road (Map ref: Q1) from his old location where he ran the Mekong Sunset prior to his new venue.

I went along to the opening a few nights back to take a few photos to share with you all.

The jungle bar now carries a large selection of ice creams, a rather strange addition to their bar, but seemingly more than welcome by some of their overheated patrons :shock:

My mate Paul and i recently spent two fabulous nights with Geg and his friendly staff. The warm welcome we recieved was far beyond that expected or deserved by a couple of Aussie blowins. Very much appreciated Greg, see you April

New Year's Party

Greg And Dang,
Would like to invite you to join us in the Jungle for New Years Eve, we will have the usual party food, balloons and streamers etc but we also have a couple of surprises up our sleeve.
The fun begins at 6pm through until 1.00am.

A quick message from Greg, the owner of the Jungle Bar, Nong Khai!

Dear Friends,

Just a short note to let you know THE JUNGLE will be closed on Monday 25th of January, but open from 2pm on Tuesday 26th, January.

Please join us to celebrate Australia Day, have a "sambo" and a "cold one".

Non "Aussies" will be granted Citizenship for the day. (even the frogs).

Hope to have a beer with you on our national day.
