2-1, at least Michael scored one on a penalty.

Did anyone, UK side, see Football Focus at lunchtime when Joe was being interviewed? Old Lauro's position was that Joe was only in for 8 weeks and it wasn't the end of the World so crack on and get some points. Controversially, he went onto say that the players had no more excuses and had to get on with it.

It's a bit strange when JK is saying that Keegan and Shearer are coming into NUFC and Shearer says he knows nothing about this arrangement. Malcolm MacDonald wondered what sort of line Ashley was feeding JK - a bit embarrassing.

Ashley only wants to sell the club for as much money as he can get, I think he will tell anyone anything in order to do it.
I understand that Newcastle fans will be happy to get rid of him, but "Nigerian Businessmen" does not exactly fill my mind with confidence - with no racial undertones at all, just if I ever get an email from anyone claiming to be that it goes straight in the junk mail.. :D
I hope this can all end quickly & some sort of stability will happen for the fans..

Well you never know, Mr Ashley might have received a proposition from a couple of gentlemen in Lagos to buy his club and thought that they were serious. He probably picked the e-mail up in his Spam folder.

Newcastles new manager, Roy Kinnear, must sit in the stands for his first 2 games as he has a 2 game touch line ban outstanding from 2004. There is a possibility that he will never manage Newcastle from the touchline as new owners might bring in a new manager before his ban expires.
What a way to run a club and treat their fans. You couldn't make it up if you tried.

What a way for the FA to run the game. He has been out of the game (not sat on the bench) for 4 years, but must serve a two match ban  :(
